Edmonton & Calgary Wedding Photographers, & Portraits!
Krister and I headed out past Alberta beach to take some photographs for Lisa and Cecil at their gorgeous log cabin home. Lisa and Cecil met each other at work, and fell in love. They both had two dogs, and now their “families” are joined together. We loved photographing at a place so gorgeous and that also held a special meaning for the couple!
Ashley & Chris came up from Calgary for a portrait session with their new family member – a little chocolate lab named Nixon! Krister grew up with a yellow lab, and really loved Nixon! Krister and I LOVE DOGS but puppies absolutely melt my heart! (Can you tell I want a dog?).
Ashley and Chris and their puppy were a lot of fun to photograph. They braved the outdoors for some photographs, and we had an excellent time. We love studio photography because it’s our new baby, but sometimes you can’t beat a natural setting! Huge thanks to JoAnne, Ashley’s mom, for coming along as a puppy-sitter when we took some couple photographs!
For Randy’s Birthday, Stacey gave him us! Okay, not really us, but photographs done by us :). They have never had professional photographs done since they’ve been together until now! We had such a great time doing pictures around Edmonton with them. They also brought their dogs, Cocoa and Jade along for the session! The dogs didn’t seem to mind having their photographs taken, and we were happy to leave Randy and Stacey with a few fun “family” pictures :). Enjoy!

I would just like to say a large thanks and acknowledge my favorite model of last year! Sherlock has never complained about the flash in his eyes, always looked at the camera and had a great level of concentration for his age! He helped us test some studio lights in the pictures below…
