Georgina & Victor’s Wedding

Hello again!  This wedding was shot by Mike and myself.  It was a weird day, sunny, rainy, then sunny again.  We got caught in the rain and our cameras were dripping wet, but no damage was done! Georgina and Victor didn’t let anything spoil the mood, and had fun throughout.  Georgina has to be one of the happiest brides of the summer and was such a pleasure to shoot!

Some fun… (always take these types of shots, but never seem to blog them)

Some cuteness.

Bride comes down the stairs and we leave for the ceremony soon.

The guys head to my favorite Italian store on 97th street for food!

The ceremony was absolutely beautiful.

The ring bearers having some fun.

Georgina and her bridesmaids go for a dip in the pool.

I love chocolate cakes!

Mike took this super-cool shot with motion blur.

Engert Family Photo Shoot!

We had a fun time doing photographs of Russel, Jordan, Blair and Hayden.  We had a blast using a few different spots around Edmonton.  Here are a few of the photographs we took.

Caitlyn & Steven’s Wedding

Caitlin and Steven’s wedding was a lot of fun.  The ceremony was held at Shalom Park where we had the opportunity to shoot a while back.  The pictures are full of nature.  Add in a beautiful bridal party and here’s what you get!  Enjoy!

I took a risk getting an “artsy” bride coming down the aisle shot…

And then a few “regular” ones as well…

The bride and bridesmaids having fun.  No bouquets were damaged in the making of this photograph!

The bridal party had some fun together in the field.

A  cool texture.

One of my favorites from the whole day.

To have the bride and groom kiss, guests had to pop balloons, and inside them were instructions the guests had to read and then follow before the couple kissed.

Tamara & Jay’s Wedding Photographs

Tamara & Jay are a fan of black and white and requested a lot more black and white photographs than most couples do.  This was a lot of fun for me in editing as I love yummy black and whites!  The wedding day was absolutely gorgeous and the couple was just as stunning.  I have picked out my favorites from the day…

I’m a big fan of the bird cage veil.

And a German Silent Film era look was created in this photograph.  It’s one of my favorites!

The grand entrance…

These friends of the couple sang a song from the movie Juno!  ”I don’t see what anyone could see in anyone else… but you doo doo doo doo…”.  That was an absolute hit- everyone was smiling!

And the receiving line- one of my favorite things to photograph :).

Plain is in.

I’m becoming a big fan of the “twirl shot”.

Here’s a wide-screen shot inspired by a movie.  Can you guess which one?

Some of us are on the job even when we’re at a wedding.  The ring bearer sure is!

Cake cutting was a lot of fun.

And the first dance…
