Elenna & Ricky’s Wedding

In May I had to the privilege of shooting Elena & Ricky’s wedding.  It was a blast, as the atmosphere was fun throughout the day.  I had a difficult time limiting down the pictures to just a few for the blog.  Here are some of my favorites from the day.

The bride had awesome green shoes to wear after the ceremony was over.

There’s someone who’s sad that the bride is getting married and leaving home!

Groomsmen ensure the groom leaves on time.

Elena and Ricky noticed the “En’R” at the top of the doors which was cool since those are their initials!

We headed downtown for a few shots…

Baby Jack is Born!

Last Wednesday I had the privilege to shoot a birthing of a past bride and groom of mine!  I received a call from James (the Dad) letting me know that I should rush to the hospital as Shawn was going to give birth soon.  Krister drove me to the hospital with little time to spare….  I crowded into the room with Shawn, James, Shawn’s parents and a bunch of nurses and doctors…

Baby Jack’s grad entrance.  Everyone is so excited!  Even I wipe away a tear while taking this photo.

First Jack gets cleaned and the nurses make sure his is a healthy little guy.

Then Mom and Dad get to hug and kiss him.

The nurse makes sure he has a solid heartbeat.

Baby and Mom hold hands…

The proud, grandparents take a look at their first grandchild.

Baby Jack gets weighed in at 6 pounds, 12 ounces.

Shawn & James, thank you for letting me share this magical moment with you.  I will never forget it.  All the best to you both and to little Jack!

Christine & Curtis’ Engagement Photographs

We loved shooting Christine & Curtis’ Engagement pictures.  They gave us full reign of locations downtown, and were quite natural in front of the camera.  A little cool editing and voila- what you see here!

The dip is always fun!

This is my favorite shot from the session.

And we’ll leave you with some romance!

Martina & Bryson’s Wedding

Martina and Bryson were married at the Old Timer’s Cabin in Edmonton on May 10, 2008.  For formals we headed off to the Alberta Legislative grounds where there were millions of people taking grad photos!  We managed to find some locations that were not being used for our photographs :).  For the reception we headed back to the Old Timer’s Cabin where there were many funny speeches and a great party!

This shot is taken right before the bridal party walked down the aisle.  I love the expressions and interactions.

A receiving line shot.  We LOVE receiving lines right after the ceremony because the expressions are priceless.

Gotta love the face! :)

Here we caught some guests having a great time on the patio.

The groom’s family has special hockey jerseys made for every member of their family.  They all brought them in order to have this fun photograph!

The flower girl was on the dance floor all night…
