LeeAnn & Pat’s Wedding Photographs

For one Saturday last summer I made the drive out to Drayton Valley to photograph LeeAnn and Pat’s wedding.  They were such an original couple and we had a lot of fun with the formals session!

I headed over to the groom’s for some getting ready pictures too!

The pink flasks were bridesmaid gifts, so we made sure to include them in a photograph.

The groom brought out a toy gun for a few pictures.

And then came the trikes which we’ve only ever done with groomsmen before.  Here’s our first wedding with a bride riding!

Some reception details…

Guests at the reception kissed in order to get the bride and groom to kiss.  The bride and groom had to copy the guests and kiss in the same way.

This little guy enjoyed the party the entire night in his rolly-chair.

Candis and Nick’s Wedding Photographs

Candis and Nick were a beautiful couple and their wedding was nothing less.  Krister and I enjoyed photographing their wedding from the getting ready until late into the night.

The groom made breakfast (pop tarts) for the groomsmen :).

Everything is chill at the groom’s getting ready.

The decorations were very elegant and well thought out.  VIP Event Consultants were responsible for decor, timing and making the event go off without a hitch.  They did an excellent job and this was probably one of the smoothest, most organized weddings we photographed!

The ring bearer stopped to look through the cracks in the boards.

A bird’s eye view of the ceremony.

This was our longest formals session of the year.  Everyone hopped into a limo (including us) where there were drinks and snacks and a party atmosphere!  Photos were a lot of fun!

This is my new invention or take on the huddle photograph.  I have named it “the kaleidoscope”.

And off to the reception at Lilly Lake Resort.  The food there was amazing!  I have been going back for Father’s Day and my Dad just loves it there!

My favorite model

I would just like to say a large thanks and acknowledge my favorite model of last year!  Sherlock has never complained about the flash in his eyes, always looked at the camera and had a great level of concentration for his age!  He helped us test some studio lights in the pictures below…
