Edmonton & Calgary Wedding Photographers, & Portraits!
We had a great opportunity to do some photographs for Kelti Malone, a singer/songwriter in Edmonton, Alberta, for her new upcoming CD! Not only is this girl super talented, she is also very beautiful. We had a fun time photographing her in some rural locations outside of Edmonton. Check out her website here. Avileen & Sundeep’s reception took place on Sunday, and was a great way to wrap up the wedding week! The reception was full of speeches, some awesome performances, live drummers, many speeches, and some awesome dancing! People didn’t sit down for long, and even during dinner there was a full dance floor! Krister and I had a great time getting some cool images using the smoke machine and lights. It was really great meeting everyone and getting to know you over the 5 days! Avileen & Sundeep, the best to you both in London!
Avileen & Sundeep’s wedding continues! We did a formal photography session at the Legislative Grounds in Edmonton. Avileen and Sundeep maintained great smiles in the heat, and we had fun! After formal photographs, we went back to Avileen’s home where Sundeep and his groomsmen had to barter for Avileen. This was so much fun! The guys prepared signs stating why Avileen should go with Sundeep. They bartered with the ladies to take Avileen, but the ladies stood firm for a long time. Sundeep listed the reasons why he should be let in, upped the anti, and showered the ladies with silly string until allowed to enter. After bartering was the “departure of Doli”. This is where Avileen symbolically left her home, following her new husband. The moment was very sad as, in fact, Avileen was moving after the wedding to England. Watching Avileen’s father and mother cry left tears in our eyes as well. What an emotional time! Finally, the men push the limo away as Avileen rides away with her new husband.
Hello everyone! Welcome back to Avileen and Sundeep’s Wedding teasers! We wanted to post a day from the wedding each day, but simply had way too many favorites from Day 4 of the wedding, so we’ll break it up and post the first half of Avileen and Sundeep’s wedding today, and the second half tomorrow. What you are about to see is Avileen and Sundeep getting ready, and then the Anand Karaj (ceremony portion) of the wedding. I must say that Avileen looked absolutely stunning, and together her and Sundeep made an extremely handsome couple! More pictures to come soon.
