Picture That Photography's Adventures in Edmonton and Abroad!

Maurie-Lynn & Alan’s wedding was a true (& cold) winter wedding).  The two were married at The Palace in Edmonton where the reception also took place as well.  One thing that really stood out about this wedding for us was the incredibly fun bridal party.  They were so supportive of the couple, but also created a lot of laughs throughout the day!  For formals we photographed at a place we usually don’t: the Muttart Conservatory.  We had fun visiting a few different climates with the couple, and then taking photographs outside in the snow to showcase the time of year :).  We had some extra time before the reception began, so the group went to a local pub for some appetizers.  The reception was a blast.

For photographers: When the formals are over and you have that one in a hundred time when your photos are done, what do you do?  We follow the couple!  Whether they are just hanging out in a pub or chilling at someone’s place, we find these relaxed and natural photos are a lot of fun.  If they don’t want extra formals, then we take some super awesome shots of the reception room (usually without people in it if it’s early enough) and get some killer detail photos.
